Heer tunic

Hi all,

I would like to show you this tunic. It came from a vet family. The insignia and badges originally applied on it. The tunic came also with the Eickhorn sabre.

Could you please check if everything is OK?

As I am not uniform guy please could you advise what type of tunic is it, what unit, what rank etc.

Hi, Looks like a beautiful untouched m40 tunic, dated 42? with upgraded green collar to make an nco. Unteroffizier rank. Seems to be lemon yellow for signals? / or could be golden yellow for cavalry/Aufkl. Great grouping.

Great tunic...It appears the sleeves had a piece added to make them longer.It looks like Cavalry on my screen.

Very nice, it looks like Aufklarungs as well. That would make sense with sabre for mounted personnel and the Bronze PAB.

I like it. I also noticed the end of sleeves with different shade of wool having been lengthened. Nice tunic though. Jackboot

Wonderful M41 with replaced collar!
I was certainly thinking the waffenfarben is more golden yellow that the lighter lemon yellow. She's a real beauty!

The sleeves may also have been repaired, the patches at the end of the cuffs or added materials look like (?) they are different sizes. Maybe it is just the photo.
