Here some unit stamps from Soldbuchs of that unit which I found on FB !
An early 1942 example (October) and a much later 1944 example (September)...
"Schutzen Regiment 108" became "Panzer Regiment 108" in July of 1942

In both pictures i see the unit Panzergrenadier-Ersatz-Bataillon 108.
This replacements unit is not automaticly connected to Panzergrenadier-Regiment 108.
Look on page 4 (or 17) of both Soldbücher to see if the soldier went to Panzergrenadier-Regiment 108 or another unit.
The soldier could have been send to any other unit.
