My 2nd pattern Leutnant, Panzer Rgt 6. Set-up for Poland 1939.

Panzer Rgt 6 was based at Neuruppin in Wehrkreis III (headquarters Berlin)

Tunic is HEAVILY reworked by a tailor. The cinching tapes and cloth channels have all been removed from the inside, it has been shortened by one button, the stitch line at the cuff slits have been removed and the cuff slits have been sewn closed, the sleeves are fully lined, and there is a black artificial silk panel sewn in from the collar line at the back of the neck across both shoulder blades to just above the middle back. The eagle is a flatwire on black backing.
