Question about Wrap

Great panzer wraps you posted here guys. Thank you for sharing!

I have a question regarding the "burlap" material in the lapel areas of your
panzer wraps:

We all know that in original wraps there is the burlap material inside of
the collar and lapels (at front).

Could you please tell me if any of you, guys, have ever seen any (SS or
Heer) original wrap that has the burlap material inside GLUED to lapel
panels? The picture below illustrates what I mean.
You can feel it by trying softly to pull and try to separate the lapel cloth
from the burlap (which is inside of the lapel).

Eddie,

The only time I have seen it glued into a wrap is on reproductions. I believe they had a material that came with glue on one side and they used it in their various wraps. I have seen original wraps with major damage so you can see their guts, and the binding material is always loose, except for stitching in the collar and body. I don't think there are any exceptions.

no of course, i just put it (not even seewn ) for display in this pic,
the wrap is unworn and without insignia except factory applied breast eagle.
but there are lots of period pics showing those special grades worn on hbt wraps.
btw, it is what should be done, acording regulation order : AHM 1942, n° 742, august 8, 1942.

The camo sleeve insignia was intended to be worn on HBT wrappers to show rank.
