These yellow tabs are applied to an original black wrap. I am not certain if the collar tabs are original or not. Any ideas?

But i dont find any Nachrichten Abteilung with this n° in the 10 earlier Panzerdivision untill 1940, or even in others late ones.
For an early wool piped colar wrap, if it is confirmed that this wrap was manufactured before 1940, it would means that if the strap is original to this wrap, it would be the divisional level transmission unit of 6.Infanterie-Division :

That would logicaly imply then that this unit used some armored cars like Sd.Kfz 223, 232 (fu.) or 263, wich would be a surprise for me.
At this stage, i'm a little bit puzzled with this n° 6 unit designation.
As a sidenote, the embrodery quality of the "6" is rather crude imo, not like the clasical chaine stiched ones, but i know several variations existed.
Maybe there is another explaination i missed.
The color of piping looks zitronengelb, not goldgelb.

Indeed. The base wrap is real but i am not sure about the rest. I am trying to determine if the insignia are ok. The tabs are sewn on with thread that is totally different from the garment’s construction. The yellow piping is coarser than what I would expect from a factory application. Could all of this be explained? I do not know.
