Pauke is right with FBB brigade being black. But mine are dark green based. So are they for waffenrock ?

Yes, it would be. But this wool piping had manufacturing lots that did have a problem retaining their color. Here's an example that shows the degree to which the color can leech out of signals piping.

Oddly, it's not the tunic - just this shade of piping. The boards are still yellow, and it just appears to be some lots of yellow bleach out just from time.

I think that's the case with these boards.
