Oberst boards

Here are Paul Tzschöckell's T-form boards for what I assume to be his summer white uniform. He was head of the officer instruction course for the Heeres-Gasschutzschule in Celle as an Oberst, hence the Lehr cyphers.

Well worn and used a pair of M-44 straps for either a Hauptscharfuehrer or Oberfeldwebel of a Panzer recon unit.

This lovely board & collar tab, belong to a Kiwi friend of mine. They came from Fritz Fechner, who was a Knight's Cross winner. He won the RK while serving as commander of the III battalion, Panzer Rgt. 23.

Don't get too excited fellas, the L1 pieces are Artillerie not
Panzer. The colors don't do to well on my scanner.

Panzer Regiment 1 Schwarz

The thread had become dormant, so I thought I would post a few more pieces. This is a single sew-in from a black wrapper. The Oberfeldwebel was from Panzer Regiment 1.

Here is another strap that belonged to the same Oberfeldwebel. This is an early piece made of a more bottle green colored material, that does not show well on my scanner. Notice the early waffle pattern tress.
