An Unteroffizier in the 140th Gebirgsjager Regiment:

My latest finds:

left to right:
- Artillery Waffen NCO, a little bit mismatched, but worn this way. Out of the woodwork.
- Herr officials with pink secondary colour
- real combat NCO boards, came with the artillery boards from a vet source
- very minty dress boards san abtl. 11 (found a large insignia haul from that unit last year http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=446526 )
- stonemint infantry NCO boards.

The waffenmeister Officer candidate boards are very cool and VERY rare.

Are the officials board nebenfarbe rose pink or carmine in color?

Herewith a few additions to the nice Panzergrenadier items posted by other members:

- PzGren Leutnant's board with green over yellow battalion or company ID loop

- PzGren private's strap with Kriegsmarine braid used in lieu of proper WH braid to denote officer-candidate status...or as a unit ID

- 23. Panzer-Division sleeve insignia as donned by divisional personnel just prior to their surrender to the British army in Austria in May 1945

A wider strap was specified for 3 digit regimental numbers .

What a nice grouping. I especially like the blue backed admin (?) boards on the right. Are these admin boards??

I never really thought about shoulderboards till I started seeing them posted here (Man I sure do say that a lot on this board!!)
