    In the reports of the GFP (still in the Bundesarchiv, and copies in Belgian Archive) they write now and then about capturing big weapon supplies that were dropped by the British SOE. Most of these weapons were demolition charges and Sten guns. So for sure that is where these men got them from!

      The picture of the GFP group in Brussels: Its clearly visible they are not all using the same Waffenfarbe => personnel from other branches attached to GFP.

        And IMHO also clear in this picture: Most Waffenfarbe looks dark (=>dark green, colour for Admin) and not light (=> light blue, as some believe used by the GFP as a waffenfarbe for the cap).

            I can assure these are 100% blue. BTW not powerly blue but light blue for GFP!
            A little faded but not at all dark green as from beambte. If I turn them a little and watch the underside, you can see the blue better. This tunic was heavy worn and 100% textbook.

            If you look at the threads these are fixed with you can see these are also blue (a little darker blue).
