Hi to all,

I finally had some time to post my GFP tunic, from a Feldpolizeiobersekretär (Oberleutnant)
All insignia (collar tabs, eagle, shoulder boards) are original to the tunic.

I added the awards. Still looking for a ribbon bar.

The visor is an admin visor because GFP was part of admin officials. I believe army caps used piping in Waffenfarbe and for admin that is green. The blue piping for GFP is the nebenfarbe, never used as cap piping IMO.

The tunic isa bit salty and has seen some wear.

The tip of the shoulder boards are sewn to the tunic, to prevent curling.

The tunic is named and dated.
I believe its dated 1942. I can not read the name because of the wear.
If someone can help me with this, that would be great!

Thanks for posting your GFP outfit and the photographs. I have only seen one other example of this officer tunic and as I recall it had the standard type of collar tabs but it has been a long time.

I tend to agree with you that the cap you show with this uniform is most likely the proper style. I cannot imagine why a nebenfarbe would be used as piping either. An example of this would be the Verwaltungspolizei. Their piping color is grey not the red nebenfarbe beneath the grey backing that is seen on the shoulder boards. If the collar is green on your tunic one would think the band would also be green... which leaves the Beamte cap that you show. It seems logical.

A question about the group photo... are some of these officers wearing standard style collar tabs? I cannot clearly make them out.
