Aluminium Breast Eagle

Hi
I wonder if anyone might be able to tell me something about this badge I've recently aquired.
I've been told it might be Kriegsmarine but I'm not sure. It's made from solid Aluminium and measures 95mm accross the wings.
There also appears to be a makers mark of some description in a diamond shape.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The marking is an M inside the rhombus, it is a KM breast eagle and an original one!

Hi Robbo,

Like glaser said, an original KM eagle for the summer uniform predominantly. "M in diamond" = Maedicke, Berlin.

Thank you very much for your information. I wasn't even sure if it was an original piece because it looks quite basic. I assume it was probably cast manufacture
