I'm with Mike on this one. 500-series were generally corps troops. There's no good match-ups with anything armor related.

The strap is artillerie no doubt about that, I will try and take better pictures tommorov..

The cypher on the other strap is for waffenschule 2

Jens, if you can convince your self that they are artillery , Might be , 562d "heers kusten batterie".
was an ARMY coastal defense battery in norway. 1st listed 10 feb.1941 last date 15 oct.1942. had 4- 105 mm k331 / L135 guns (french) & 2 lmg's.
a Norwegian site Said it actually (eventually ?) was assigned to gebirgs - korps norwegen, & used as regular field artillery. using 10.5cm k331 guns.
the dates from a u.s. report of some sort on the net.
also found a 562 transport company listing , but no other info.
