It is interesting. I've had the opportunity to slip into a hatch of a King Tiger at one time. I was a 42 jacket then (roughly a 106). I could barely get in it. So, I'm always skeptical when I see large size panzerwraps. Those guys had to be really small.

I am not sure I am following your request but will give it a shot. In terms of the chest size your M43 appears to be a 90cm that would convert to around a US size 35.5 or in other words a tunic on the smaller side.

I think for smaller german soldat, maybe 165cm for 55/60 kg?
