    field blouse size differentials

i hope this thread will allow us to understand exactly what heer tunic size variations there were-via reference to inside panel stamps...
so------------------i welcome any collectors' info re -for example- the size options on a 96 chest 98 chest 100 chest 102 chest etc...let us see via collectors' pics what sizes these damned wonderful uniform makers stretched to.
so, think standard five point size stamps-then show us the variants.

    eg

    44 48

    102

    76 62

so-collar length, sleeve length, back to waist legnth, overall length...basically all relevant tunic size dimensions...sufficient to clothe each and every trooper available to the heer at that time.

    ...etc......thanks in advance!

Here is size table for Feldblusen from TR reg
"Vorschrift für die Auswahl der Grö¤ennummern der wichtigsten Bekleidungsstücke" (Beilage 7 zu §42 der Diestanweisung für die Heeresbekleidungsämtere H. Dv. 337)
    http://lbsr.mzf.cz/forum/Massliste-Feldblusen.html
I've been hunting this reg for many, many years...

Several years ago I've also started project about Gield blouses sizes...
    Nobody was interested...

Great info about Heeresbekleidungämtes is here (in spanish):
      http://www.wehrmacht-info.com/uni_marcajes.html
After factories listed under HBA WBr seems that abbrevitation WBr is for Wien -depot Brünn....

This could be an interesting thread in gauging various tunic sizes out there. I will contribute with a large one.

            Glenn,

            Yes it is.

Until this one 108 was the largest I had seen. The smallest 86.

You must have quite a range?

From 84 to 114 and all sizes in between I think...Shocking that a 84 would fit an adult.

                size 128!

I have a minty Uff M36 made by Grabbe & Co dated 1939 and stamped in size 128!
Jacket was later retailored to a smaller size as they probably did not have much use for this size in the uniform depot!

                  Hi Sammler,
can I copy and resize posted photo for my Markings html?
If yes, please tell me what type it is (M36?).

Strange is that most of field blouses I've seen in reality or on photos have another sizes than mentioned in my Vorschrift (I don't know in which year this Vorschrift was published due to missing of first page with A.H. photo and editor data, but it was probably before IIWW - 1937 or 1938..)

                  kapitein,
can You post stamping of that 128 blouse?

My two feldblusen are for smaller chest sizes. One is a 34 and the other is a 38 in US Sizing.

The "34" (88cm chest) is an M43 accepted by the Erfurt depot in 1944. It is made of Italian "twill weave" wool, and was issued and saw light use. It has this for a size stamp:

                    171 175

                    43 40
                    88
                    72 64

                    E 44

The 2nd Feldbluse I own is an M42, with the sizes:

                    161 165

                    39 44
                    96
                    67 59

                    St. 43

                            Hi km-spain,
really great article (IMHO better than spanish version].
Are You author of this article?
If so, 2 little notes to this article:
                            1) There is an error in "Massliste", last row Brustweite is 112, must be 114.
                            2) After my knowledges Garnitur numbers are I, II, III & IIII (not IV).
"Degradation" of item was provided by adding "I" - so from Garnitur III was Garnitur IV made by adding "I" to "III".
Or did You ever see Garnitur number "IV"?

Hi, thanks for your comments. The link that you posted was a very early version that a guy copy for his web, when I saw it I asked to delete it but you have the direct link.

Anyway, about your commnets, 1) my mistake I have to change, thanks; and 2) all the references that I have is the this grade is IV a nd not IIII, but I never have seen any of them on a tunic, do you have any to show us.
