    M43 WH Tunic !

    Hello,

I need your feeling about this one,

a nice MINTY M43 WH tunic.

    It seems very NICE !!!

But insignias are reapplied for me.....
    Are there Originals ??

Undercollar is made from olive tropical uniform cloth...
Belt hook ramps have been removed...

Thanks for your opinon about it ....

Great tunic! Collar tabs are originally applied, I will leave the eagle application to more advanced collectors but I beleive it's originally applied too.

Agreed it is a nice tunic, Agree with Tony the Eagle is re applied! with good chance collar tabs are original to the tunic. Eagle is proper for this era tunic!
I would like this on a bust or maniquinn!

^ Tony suggested eagle is originally applied!

          Nice tunic either way.

            very nice hairy wool m43...
i see the belt hanging canvas straps have been removed.
i suggest then it was used post war or intended for post war civi use...and as such the insignia is nice but post war applied.
logic of this? why keep military insignia on a tunic already stripped of military extras such as belt support webbing?
that said, why leave the epps loops and buttoned? at the end of the day, terribly small, but a fine specimen. congrats!

Both very nice:- tunic and pictures

IMHO straps have chance for period apply, not sure about eagle:- I've read some about eagles sewned through the liner here on the forum.

Here is a great thread showing eagles stitched through the lining.
                      http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=236523

Blassic's eagle could have a good chance to be originally applied but need much better pics than that, although it differs in the stitching method from the other eagles shown in the above thread. It looks more simmilar to Bob's example on post #57 (stitching wise)

It seems to be a very SMALL size....
hard to wear on a mannequin display !
