          For "Field and Service Dress" tunic buttons were to be painted. You occasionally see silver dress buttons used on service tunics most almost all of the time they are Field grey like these.

              Hello,thanks for the info looks like I need some more lights,don't know what a pocket wizard is maybe a small flash on the hot shoe? Still a lovely tunic very subtle and subdued butvery handsome,still amazed at the amount of different and varied tunics from the days of the Third Reich.Cheers David.
