Question on the belongings of a Field Marshall.

I had what I guess what you could classify as a tinnie on the Tinnie Forum.

My question is...What became of the uniforms, medals, sword, etc. of Field Marshall Von Mackensen?
He died on 8 November 1945.
The Americans were there along with everybody else. Did his belongings end up in a museum or in private hands?

No one has any ideas?? I see that he supported the National Socialists for some time but apparently became dissatisfied with them after the Roehm Purge in '34. But I have seen many pictures of him in the company of Third Reich Army officers. Maybe I'll have to pose the question on the Imperial Forum.
