Panzer skulls - Help needed

I have bought this pair of panzer skulls from a German militaria dealer and
posted this pictures in a German Militaria forum and the opinions were very different about the authentity. I searched in the threads of some forums but didn´t found matching original ones.
I think the material is zinc and the weight one of this skull is 2 gramm.

I do not like the skulls. I have never seen Panzer skulls with prongs in that position. And some other details look very stange, too.

PS: Ich würde auf ein besseres Paar Totenköpfe warten!

100% late war originals.

They where found 2 or 3 years ago at the show in Stuttgart. Detlev Nieman gets, if i remember right, 150 pairs of them of a tailor found. They where sold at the show in minutes.

How many skulls you have seen? Do you know how many different skuls have been made?

btw - he second skull you are selling is a know fake. You can search at the german forums of the "sandmann", he sell them.

I have seen a lot of skulls. And a lot of skulls were made. Do you know all? I don't think so.

PS: Maybe that pattern of Panzer skull existed. But I have never seen it before.

I dont think so too and i also think that i never see all.

BUT there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between "I think / i dont like" and "I know".
If people write "I dont like" or "I think" - they DONT KNOW if its a original or a fake - and thats a problem (imo).

p.s. to comment on the skulls from the thread starter: they do look (the material and prongs) a lot/similair like the late war "stamped in one piece" Heer cap eagles. so I think they have a good chance i.m.o.

Yes, the skull is from the Berlin hoard. And we have dicussed it in the SS forum...again, and again and again.
