General der Infanterie Waffenrock

I woudl like to have opinions on this General Der Infanterie Waffenrock. I do have it in hand and can take any other pictures you may want.

As always, any opinions are quite welcome.

The eagle is not crooked - the form was a little small for the 'Rock.

The boards are scalloped, and have a hole in the center for a single Rangstern - I assume the Herr General was promoted from Generalmajor on up. It's funny - I never saw scalloped boards until the SOS, and now I have seen at least five pairs on various sites.

No - the nametag was removed form the inner pocket. I have a name, but would like to see the tunic stand or fall on its own merits.

Is the Waffenrock named at all Don?

HI Bryant -

I have a name, but the Waffenrock itself has no tailor's labels in it anymore - I'll take a shot of the interior tonight when I get home. I am trying to get people's opinions on the tunic itself without muddying the water with a name. This came with some additional insignia, photos of the owner (not in a Waffenrock), and the EKI, Lippe Cross and Black Wound badge.
