Just for fun can you looks for any evidence of an SS eagle on the sleeve? They can be very hard to see with iron gabardine.

Based on what you posted, the tunic is late probably 44-45, so if the insignia is original you are looking at a higher than Battalion level command.

It would be interesting, I have some SS tailor made items that use the italian HBT for lining. You see issue items with Italian HBT but it is rare to see them in tailor-made pieces, only the gabardine. I wish peple were still alive to ask questions if tailors were suplied with some of this or if it was obtained by officers and given to tailors etc. To me that is as interesting as the itmes themselves.

I don't know when it might be my imagination, but actually on the sleeve left is the shadow of a badge possibility that measures approximately 6 x 4 cm.
What measures has the eagle of the SS?

If so I have a jacket reassembled !!!!

Again, excuse my bad English and the picture : is impossible to make visible the shadow !
