    I think those and the string ties were added after issue, the factory cloth ties wore out quickly and also tore off if not tied rubbing inside boots.

      Original and from the Theater of Angers ( france) which is not far from Saumur ( tank museum ) and that is where I came from . It seems that I have seen this one several time before .

        Hi All,

        Thank you very much for your support and comments. It is truly appreciated.

        These are for sale on e-stand with a pair of original boots. I received a request to buy them from wittmann007 who lives in France. Later on he backed out of the deal saying that the trousers were fakes.

                    Not sure really...Collectors Guild believes the DH could mean "Deutsche Heer" and the types without the DH stamp are for W-SS issue.
