They look like good originals -

I agree, it looks like a museum or palyhouse stamps was inked out.

Original with inked out film studio markings (French movie house I think) Most of these are produced from Italian wool.

I guess "palyhouse" does not convey "playhouse". My fingers are too big.

Look like nice original breeches. Never seen the gromets used for the leg tie holes, interesting feature, and makes sense.
