This rucksack has been in my collection since a year or 4.
I have always believed it to be original, but have never bothered seeking confirmation or other opinions, as I put my trust in the source and still do.
The rucksack in question is made from white, heavy cotton-duck material and black leather. I know I have seen at least one identical example in wear by Gebirgsjäger troops in a period postcard. Sadly enough, I do not know where I saved the scan of the postcard. The postcard shows Gebirgsjäger utilising ski's while ascending a besnowed mountain and was printed in sepia-tone colour. If any one knows which card I'm talking about and has a scan to share, please upload it here for educational purposes.
I would highly appreciate your opinions on this piece. I am sorry for the bad photography, but had to use my old digital.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Vincent S.
