        4. The money shot. It looks like they left more excess in the center than the Germans did.

Here is a photo of the center seam in a Police green denim wrapper made by the Belgian firm E. Reitz. I'm hoping members wil contribute more photos and input on this topic, especially since there are quite a few more wraps out there not represented yet.

It's not a wrapper, it's a four pocket summer weight Police tunic and the same technique was used using two ends with the selvedge in the center. Still hasn't come unraveled, notice the white material woven in at the selvedge.

Here are some non-wrapper photos from a 1942 dated M43 HBT four pocket jacket with no insignia applied from member "thefbi". It clearly shows the use of the selvedge pieces down the center seam.

Here is an extremely nice pink piped HBT wrap I had the distinct please to have in hand at the last So Cal collectors meeting. It is definitely one of the nicest HBT wraps I've handled and definitely had original sewn insignia in the form of tabs and breast eagle and matching boards.

No huge surprise, but this original wrap also has the center seam using the selvedge material joined together in the middle. Enjoy...

                        2. Tabs are bottle green wool background with pink piping, boards are the same. Very rarely seen tabs.
