Sorry, I made a serious mistake. I would swear that I just saw another maker mark. Must be my vivid imagination though.

The stamp which I now see belongs to following firm:
    Walther & Többens K-G.
    Textilwarenfabrik
    Warschau.

The production dates and the rest of the consensus stays the same though.

Take care and thanks for the given trust!

I liked this jacket and always wanted to buy it, but too many irons in the fire, if your ebay buyer wants to return it, direct him to me!

          Hello
Nothing wrong with this set !!! Obviously sold to someone who does not do his/her homework .
Most likely the buyer wants to return it based on "buyer's remorse" and nothing else.
          Regards
          P-Y

Thanks for your really appreciate and respected opinion. I always knew this set is 100% correct original german wintercamo and there is nothing wrong with it. I would take it back IF not original but is is cristal clear it is original. I hope the buyer sees that the collector with 40 years of experience, who gave his opinion doesn't know his stuff.

Scott i know you would love to buy the jacket and there were some other things at that time. Are you sure you want me to direct him to you?

              regards Erwin

DEFINITELY a case of lack of knowledge on the buyers part..
Walter Tubbens is a BIGTIME schindlers list kind of slave/ghetto labor warschau general government economic zone entrepenur manufactuerer that made many contract pieces for army and ss ,luftwaffe hats unifroms etc etc..I would think as soon as some one saw warsaw they panicked .......although I d love to hear about how they came up with the pre war polish army winter wear with added german buttons..JMHO Billbert

                  Nice !!

Jep, definitely German textbook winter camo
As stated by vincent, many local firms ended up as contracters for the occupying German authorities. And many original German companies bought or seized local factories to turn them into sattelite units of their own major company.
Most factories in the West employed a fully paid labour force. For companies operating in the East, it was common practice to use forced labour like POW, or the minorities placed in concentration camps.

                      Erwin

I am not specialist in such uniforms, but IMO, it's a good one. Many factories worked in occupied territories (E. Reitz is one), and also in Warschau.
                      It is well known.
                      Bye.

                        Yes, late,

I own a Fliegerbluse with the manufacturer-stamp TÖBBENS WARSCHAU, got first hand from the family of a JG 5 fighter - Pilot.

                          and,
there was an other uniform-manufacturer in the warhsaw-ghetto, produced for the Wehrmacht:

                          The "Fritz Schultz" Company.
