    very nice boards, I wonder if there is any complete untuched tunic that survived the battle or wer they all destroyed or died with their owners weather in the city or in gulgas.......................

                      Here is a studio portrait of a soldier (and bandsman) from Infanterie Rgt. 131, another regiment from the Austrian 44 Infanterie Division which was destroyed at Stalingrad. The Austrian straps were subtly distinctive:
