Unknown Uniform help

Question on the lining of the sleeves, is this silky material or just plain cotton. The reason why I'm asking is because the sleeve lining material (stripes) reminds me of WW2 soldier's hospital pyjamas! Recycled early post war?

Heres a couple of shots of the sleeving lining, with and without flash. Not silky like the lining. The sleeves feel a bit thicker, stiffer and rayony(sic).

Here is a tunic added by NIck G to another thread. Very similar cut with the exception of the French Cuffs and collar clips. The breast pockets also sit a little higher

Here's an image that was posted recently in the photo section....
Appears to be zoll officials (customs), similar uniform!
Note pressed open collar as worn by most! (= identical),
5 button front, 4 bittons visible, slanted skirt pockets,
pleated breast pockets etc... Looks like a match to me!
Note sure about the green piping as usually these tunics have that...
but perhaps not always if for field wear...
Its interesting that they lack RFV cuff titles...which did happen...
