Drew, Weitze had a set in his shop about three years ago that I got to see in person, but they were more than likely Veterinary EM/NCO from the fabric. I have never seen a tailored pair of stone gray officer's Nebel trousers.

Quick question: has anyone seen an original pair of piped trousers for a member of a nebelwerfer unit? I never have seen or heard of a pair. This is one reason I sold my nebel officer's parade tunic as I didn't think I'd ever get to complete it...

        Regards,

        Drew
        Drew, I have seen a pair in a German's collection, I also wish I had a pair.

Don, Weitze still has the Vet trousers for sale, I think those are the ones you saw, they have been on there since the War ended.

          Don and John:

Thanks for the responses. I think I've probably seen all colors except bordeaux, copper brown and light brown (although I may be forgetting another obscure color).

          Regards,

          Drew

            More Pants

Here are some of mine showing the wide range of colors for piped trousers, I think the green wool pants were worn with the piped dress tunic and not the Waffenrock. So, Admin, Gebirgsjager, Transport, Artillery, Vet, Cav and Inf.

                              John:

VERY nice! That's the first set I've seen in over 20 years of collecting. Are those yours or the ones in the collection you referenced above?

Thanks much for showing these. Again, very nice!

                              Regards,

That is the funniest thing I saw today. Thanks for the laugh!
