Selection of Piped Walking Out Trousers

Since I have these hanging around in my War Room closet I thought I would post these. I also have infantry and artillery on mannequins at this time. From the top: General Staff/General Officer, Medical, Cavalry, Administration and Panzer.

The trousers are nice too, any with tailor tags or named? I love seeing those. Seems like a lot have the name tags sewn in the back pockets. Nice pants! Aren't General Stab in Carmine? Those look like General rank in the red?

I suspect it's actually for a General Officer, but they came with a GS set. The Admin are named. The GS/General trousers have Volkstheatre property stamps on the interior pockets, so I'm guessing they came out of the East.

Nice, just like the DDRers to take a poke at the Gstab. I bought some very long plastic plastic containers at Target and have moved all my pants and hats into flat storage. That works well and saves space and they slide under the tunics in the closets.

I just let the cat lay on mine to keep the mice from doing too much damage.

I have a stupid question...

Are these the slate gray trousers(Heer) or LW blue? The look to be blue gray to me.

Trousers come in every shade under the sun, LW usually is very blue but some Heer pants are blue gray as well.

Admin trousers are darker IMO but they are often sold a GJ for more money. The can be used as both but are generally darker than GJ boards etc. I suspect most green piped tailor made trousers were for HV members. Zoll and Forestry wore these as well I believe

The Admin trousers are a shade darker than the green on my Gebirgs piped tunic. If I put them together, it would be hard to tell the difference. These are all slate gray, but I've seen some pretty wide hue swings on these over the years.

One pair for each day of the work week! I'd say the general officer pants are for a Friday dress down day though.

I have a pair of GJ trousers that came from the Family with a service tunic. I am away from home but will post them next week with a pair of lowly Admin for comparison.

Nice collection of piped trousers!

Quick question: has anyone seen an original pair of piped trousers for a member of a nebelwerfer unit? I never have seen or heard of a pair. This is one reason I sold my nebel officer's parade tunic as I didn't think I'd ever get to complete it...
