I have these on hand right now if you want to trade.

I will need to drive to Canada to mail them too you. Seems our leader is reacting to your country's post office having the technology for "Mailings of Mass proportions" .

Here is a GJ with removable boards and loops, these are sewn down.

That is a "sweet" tunic. You better be carefull of a meltdown of your fortune. I hope you did not pay to much for those, all that glitter is not gold. Jacques

On a serious note, it is interesting to compare the two shades of green on the two jaeger tunics. Mine is tending more to the lime of panzer gren, while your is more towards the darker green of admin. Jacques

Mine are all pretty close to the the green on the posted tunic, My HVs are darker but not much. The greens were all used by the three branches IMO. There are text book colors for each branch but I do not think it was followed, especially after the War started.

I have a GJ nco m36 which matches your tunic 100%. I think the variation on my jaeger tunic and the cap is much rarer. I have not seen many examples of it. Your is definitely more "textbook" imo.

There is a neat little section in the Pruett and Edwards book talking about the "green problem" in section 7.3. I have never been one to poop my pants when there is a light green piped tunic with jager sleeve insignia but there are some collectors who would. Here are cheap closet shots showing GJ/J and HV waffenfarbe. PG is on the end for comparision. Note too another example of a Jager tunic with removable boards next to the "99".

Dark on the left to almost the same color as most the Jaeger tunics. TSD is in the same bag sorry.

Is that the 98er Don? I think we would find "truer" branch colors on dress tunics and prewar stuff.

Yes it is! It may just be me, but I have found that the Jäger/Gebirgsjäger piping on dress tunics a little on the "softer" or lighter side than field tunics. Here's a piped Admin colonel for comparison:
