Just got this in. Minty m43 tunic, originally out of the rag depots of Italy. It is neat in that you can see all the taylor markings and hash marks still. Unfortunately it had tabs removed and no sign of eagle or shoulder board buttons. But it has some interesting features.
Curved instead of zigzag collar backing stitching.
Marked several times with part numbers on material - example is the 22 in orange. All button holes are marked with blue/green slash.
Above pocket is what I thought loops for ribbon bar, but it is like 7" long? anyone know why? (Shown in picture)
Nicely marked in rayon lining, and then marked in red 155 168? anyone know what those mean?
Overall minty condition greenish/gray recycled wool, with dark blue/gray late war buttons. BJ 42 (I remember hearing that BJ 42 were rejects a while ago...?)
