Hello, I might add another comment. Here is one I sold as fake on WA a few weeks ago. It came with the Red Cross and it was clearly fake. I would be hard pressed to believe http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=251353in this type of script. A blurred period pic for me would do. Best, Bill

Luftwaffe Pilot's Armband

The Luftwaffe Pilot's Armband arrived today. I placed it on top of a white piece of paper and took some pics of it outside. It looks good to me. I don't like the white thread but it looks like the other original ones I have seen on this forum. The dealership I bought it from claimed it came from a vet estate. This of course could be true or it could just be a story. I would welcome any other opinions. Thanks everyone.

The thread on the armband doesn't look as white as it does in the pic. And the color is a little darker, maybe kind of a mustard yellow color.

Opinions on this please! The lack of detail in the eagle troubles me a bit but the lettering looks good.
