Luftwaffe Pilots Armbands

What are your thoughts on Luftwaffe Pilots Armbands? I have pics of mine and a variety of wartime pics.

Mine passes the blacklight test, stitching included. It has no markings on it, just what you see.

Please post more pics of armbands to compare with.

This armband seems to resemble mine, an Eagle with Deutsche Luftwaffe below it.

This armband appears to have "lettering" across the top, Eagle in the middle and "lettering" across the bottom.

This armband appears to be blank and of a different type of make, two part band?

Super nice pics !

The last 3 pics show "little mapholders" around the wrists..,they could write on them or there was some info on/in them..

These yellow armbands are tough..,many fakes are existing ,they really need to be compared with "known" ones IMO.

I enjoyed the pics,thanks,a couple were new to me..

Hello, tough question on these armbands. No real referance available. I own one like yours Mike. I would prefer it to having a more regal appearing eagle especially the head. Here is a picture showing its wear on the front flight pants pocket flap. Bill

Everyone seems to say the same thing concerning the eagle, but I haven't seen anyone provide a pic wartime or otherwise.

In the wartime pics that I posted, the first two pics seem to show two different styles of armband lettering. It may just be the photo, who knows?
