    Hi Scott, I don't have that one , but I know the display you are talking about. I would have to say Gabardine is my favorite contract cloth. I have several contract variations in this cloth; m43 and '44 tunics, trousers, berghose and issue officer cut "43 and "44 breeches. I may start a "Gab" thread when I get the pics together; a winter garmet thread is not a bad idea either. I have the" Biwak im Winter" manual, is this the one you are talking about? I'm sure there are several different ones; this one deals with making shelters out of ice and snow.




    I would love any issue SP wrap let alone one in Gabardine.

        Snow Tunnels

        Having grown up in Illinois, I can attest to the fact that you can build a tunnel in the snow to stay warm. At least warmer than if you were out in the wind. Mark, I like that Dutch greatcoat. How did you manage to find one in un-issued condition? Pretty rare I guess
