I managed to secure the pole topper being discussed for a fair price from Laszlo (hunmilitaria) , a fine person to deal with I may add.

Yes its not the best but I have seen some in worse condition for more money and many others in very fine condition for slightly less .I have been after one quite a while but they quickly sold before I had chance to buy one and its nice to have a pre war made one.

I have added a solid granite base and threaded through large padded bolt which the topper now slides onto.I have taken a few pics today.
