        Hello Valentino:
Rather small for truppenfahne pole top use,
more like something from maybe an auto
fender pennant pole, or a music instrument.
Base wrong for more exotic U-boat flag use.

(below) Not yours, but a small swastika type I really like.

What I was thinking was maybe a Glockenspiel
ornament, a custom substitute for the eagle type
holding a swastika, as shown in WAF t=621468.

(below) From as cited WAF Glockenspiel thread.

I agree it is rather small for that type of use, this is tough, honestly it could be a million things, maybe nothing to do with flags or pole could have been part of a desk ornament or something even, there's tons of obscure items out there we figure some out some there's no telling. Just my two cents, whatever it is I like it.

I was trying to say that to ask if it was a pole top ,cannot be asessed correctly without the dimentions added to the initial posting. HOW ELSE can we tell how big it is, as I was going to say what flad dude said ...but....The photos I REFER to are just common flag pole tops in original photos.... I agree now its almost too small to be a pole top, unless it is missing another part. It's likely We may never know for sure....but it is a TR item IMO.
