George and Roger's book that I have dates from 1975,
ISBN #0-912138-12-2. I didn't realize Schiffer had
republished the book as that is the cover of the first
edition. ...

After I bought it, I recognized the LPG finial I had seen
at a dealer in StL earlier that later appeared at the auction.
And I got it. George said he found another, but I think it was
the one on the right in your photo. Perhaps I had shared my
photo with Steve, or perhaps George did. If you lighten up
your image a bit, you can see the missing black paint. It is a
photo of the one I bought.

Thanks for sending me the top photos from the
GP book. I'm still confused about the origin of
the top photo I got from Wolfe, as I'm seeing
differences highlighted in the below compare.
