Here is a screen shot of Ben's obituary info. You can go to the mortuaries website https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obit...n-weed-9326667 ( located in Stockton Calif. ) & leave a note on his remembrance wall. I do have permission from Ben's son to post his obituary here on WAF.
    Regards,
    Michael H.

Thanks for doing this. I hope a lot of members take the time to write so his family will know what his knowledge meant for so many.

No problem & I bet his memorial wall gets slam packed with remembrances from all the members of WAF. And as it has already been said a multitude of time ...he will be missed & it will be difficult for someone to fill the vacuum he is going to leave.
        Regards,
        Michael H.

          Sad to hear his passing.
I did not know him in person but read his posts frequently.
A truly dedicated and helpful member of this community is no more.
Much courage for his family and friends.

I know how you feel, besides Ben passing I have had 3 other close friends pass since the 1st of the year. I guess I know the highway that I'm on.

Thank you for the accolade, but it was the WAF membership and moderators and administrators that most fittingly named the Flag forum in memory of Ben.

                          Very sad news!

Ben was super helpful, a heck of a nice guy, and a wealth of knowledge. Very fitting to add his OFW to the name of this Forum. My condolences to those who knew him personally.

I am shocked to hear this sad news.
We lost a giant of a collector who took so much time to answer the every collectors question. Indeed WAF lost a Kind Giant in the hobby.
                            My condolences to his family.

Man, this was like a gut punch.

My sincere condolences to his family. This place won't be the same without him.

                              Rest in Peace Ben.

                                as mentioned before:
My condolences go for the family.
RIP Ben you will be remembered by me as a person with knowledge.

What a loss to the collecting world!!
