MG34 Opinions please

Sadly Carlos this is not true, this is UK Legislation not EU legislation.

Ops! Could I take my MG34s with me to UK if I moved back? A couple of them were bought almost as scrap many years ago...

I'm looking for one for me not resale, so I'd pefer a moving parts one . hopefully in a few years common sense will prevail, if not I could get it re-deactivated I guess.

We expect much from common sense but I think things will go worse.
I told my kids, some years ago, they would inherit 1 MG34 and 1 uniform each...I hope I can keep my word in some (I hope many) years time

The way things are slowly going you cant say boo to a goose, maybe all Nazi related items will be banned uniforms items & all deactivated guns or chunks of metal will be treated as fire arms, or sinful items that should be destroyed from the face of the earth in all western society's,

Personally I think its doom & gloom the doo gooders will stop all association with the past or anything they don't like the look of.

Whilst i'm happy to discuss the evils of the EU state and governments liking of hounding of law abiding citizens because they are a easy political hit rather than dealing with real crime and criminals, I would note that I am actually trying to get some useful info on the Mg34 at the start of the thread.

Any further comments on the Mg34 itself?
