Wow, first post in almost a year, where does the time go?
Anyway, this Luger has been sitting in the case at a local gun shop for a long time. The other day, I threw out a silly offer and to my surprise it was accepted! This is the first pistol I've ever owned and have always had an affinity for Lugers. It is mostly matching with the exception of the sideplate (which for some reason is painted black, but that I'll probably strip off soon) and the disassembly lever. Also, the barrel appears to have a commercial nitro proof on the underside. Also of note are the East German VoPo grips and the matching mag marked "2/1001" which I believe is also East German.
