Sorry to say Frank but it's a stunning example. Best seen the past years in private collection

Nice rig - thanks for showing.
I've got one in similar condition (S/42 1938) with the 2 matching mags and holster. Plus, a local vet near me has a Zero Series P.38 w/ 2 matching mags and holster in about the same condition. Fantastic items to look at, but I strongly agree with the "no battle" and "desk drawer" comments above: these very high-end military P.08 and P.38 obviously saw no combat, as they don't evidence the wear and tear.
On my similar conditioned P.08, I've always believed that it must have been issued to a "desk jockey" type who wore the pistol only on very limited occasions (if at all). In other words, someone who had absolutely no need for a full-sized military caliber pistol managed to get one issued to him, then tucked it away for the duration.

I love the Krieghoff as well What year is the HK?
Matt
The holster isn't handy for pics but the top flap has slightly thin dye in places . Not wear or scrubbing etc and the " never had a belt " bit is pretty obvious in person .
The 1939 holster posted first and some posted by " channelisles " in the past are about as good as HONEST ones come .
HK is posted here and is original contract dated 1936 .

Yeah I agree...the minty ones was a desk draw storage...the one I got has no use marks and therefore I do not shot it. I am keeping the value in that condition. I got it off a vet...17 years ago...for 350 bucks...I thought I was paying a lot of $$. As a full rig...it came with 2 spar un serial number mags with the 2 s/n mags. He said he got all 4 mags from the same German POW.
