    thanks guys

    the swords i bought will not cover the loss that i'm taking on the rifle. no more guns for me i'll take it to a gun show and get rid of it.

    this is the i'm sticking to japanese swords only. this is the second time i've been burned on guns.

      Sorry to agree with the others , but they are correct.
      only bright side .... very nice real early 9 hole sling, worth a little more than average for a k98 sling.
      price it a little on the higher side ,and an reenactor wishing to play sniper will buy it.

        It does look like a German sling in style, but the early German slings had the holes on the side going through the stock to connect to the keeper. This one has the holes on the other side. In addition, it does not have the cross-hatch pattern typical of early German slings. This sling is to a different military rifle or modified commercial.

          Sorry to all , DAK is correct the 9 holes would be on the other end.
