    ZF4, original?

    Hello,

I just bought this new ZF4 scope and was wondering if by any chance I might have gotten a fake. I browsed a couple of websites and saw the "differences" or details that could make it a replica. In my case, i was more convinced of it being original, but I thought I might as well share it with the experts here and see what you're opinion is. The 2 rings that hold the scope to the mount are replica, i know that for sure.

          Beautiful scope.
It seems it once had the triangle in blue color to indicate the grease used was for cold climate, as seen here.

what makes you think the mount isn't original? What details should I look at?

I agree with every thing Nigromontanus posted.....The BLM WaA 214 doesn't quite look right and the texture of the mount isn't as rough as one would expect from an original....Post war Czech lever was an interesting addition that was obviously intended to deceive....Bodes
