Pretty much covered but I will say that stock and gun would NOT have been together at time of issue .

The stock board was just a part of the LP.08 rig. The holster and board were attached to each other, providing a way to carry the board, and together a way to carry the holster. The carrying straps went through the slots on the stock board and through the loops on the back of the holster. The rig was then carried slung across the shoulder.

I agree that the board and attaching iron look original, but lack of markings decreases value.

Thank you all for your replies.
What is a realistic value for the stock?

Any markings on the top of the attaching iron? Possibly intended for the Finnish M23 Luger that mated with straps artillery stocks to the rear of the 4" Luger holster. But they were usually numbered with larger font stamps and sometimes had an SA on them.

I believe Simpson has some Imperial marked stocks in the $500 range, but that is the high end.

It's a post WWI original. Many of these ended up in Finland.
