Thanks so much for that chart.
Less than 5k of this type made!

Hopefully my next post will be my own pictures when it's mine.

    Thanks for the help, all.

Well I bought the pistol, holster, and and all matching BCD 4 (1944 Gustloffwerke) K98 that can be cleaned up (stock was sanded with receiver in). The pictures made them both look worse than they really were.

        Got them both for $530

I have a few pics of the pistol but making dinner right now and I found a cat so a few things to deal with first.

Well the cat is safe in a kennel here until I can figure out what to do with it.

This pistol was captured at the end of the war from an officer (turning himself in) by this man's father. Apparently this man's father was a captain in the Rainbow Division and received first pick of the captures. He picked this one and you can tell this rig must have really seen the war. The pistol was probably purchased when this officer was a NCO and he kept it until the end of the war ... the holster is eue42... and marked with Uffz. Br. (Unteroffizier Braun?) So either the guy was a NCO at the end or had been field promoted to Officer?

I got the seller's dad's name, so research can be done.

            Here are the photos:

            Thanks for looking!

And the firing pin is not missing.... the pin tip has broken off. So just a small replacement needed.

What would be a correct mag for this?

I will certainly post photos once it's cleaned a bit. It is covered in old sanding dust/sludge that has solidified over time. So it looks really bad now but I am confident it will come clean.
