      There is some problems in Claus Espeholt list, because he add the 77 to Steyr AT 1941-44, where in real it should be at Radom. But about 189 /kls You are right it is the Warsaw plant of Steyr, he mentioned 182 too for M35 magazines??.

        Yeah 77 is problematic I agree. I had a Steyr 77 marked K98 for a while. That was a 1941 stamped rifle. It is possible that the 77 stamp moved with the inspector from Radom to Steyr at this point. A lot of people get confused because they think the WaA mark belonged to a factory rather than to an individual inspector.

        This is the minutiae of this pastime that drives people up the wall
