For sake of clarification - are you saying that you have observed what you believe to be 100% Imperial-era P08's with contemporary (1908-1918 applied) TK markings on their chambers?

However, I do not pretend to be an expert in this area and will welcome convincing corrections.
It is also known that the TK symbol was used on a Prussian Hussar regiments head gear as far back as Frederick the Great. But this is not evidence that this unit applied it to their weapons. Same can be said of TK use during the Imperial and Weimar/Freikorps periods.

Detailed analysis of legitimate TK marked P08's as well as TK marked G/K98 rifle variations speak very clearly as to when the marking was applied. None I am aware of speak to pre-Nazi application.

Based on the information from the two period pics of TK marked holsters in this thread link I would be curious to hear any arguments to support such holsters are Imperial or Freikorps leftovers.

          I finally got this holster.
It is for sure a typical holster of 34/45 construction
And in my opinion it is also a period totenkopf applied.
This kind of stuff is too sharp for my collection, so I 'll probably trading it .
I can make other photos if somebody need it.
Many thanks for all your comments.
