Hello, That is one of the finest examples of a 34 that one could wish to own. There is little/no chance of it being Russian capture, however that 'x' stamp is there on the barrel jacket which many people understandably think, as it is with many German firearms that were captured by the Russians. However there may be a case to make that this may not always be true, I have a Norwegian 34 with the same 'x' stamp and I doubt that came into Norwegian hands post war via the Eastern Block, just an idea. Fantastic Mg34, Jonathan.

Thanks guys. KM definitely a bonus. For me its also as it 1939 all matching except stock. Stock is original for that year of gun. Has early grip handles before they changed to common type plus has a commercial early brp mark on top cover plus early old spec so fully strips down.
        Thanks for looking

Wow - very nice, and well photographed.
See so few with so many matching numbers and such a rare one, too.

          Nice.

I am surprised how many parts that deact can break down to. Very interesting.

          Nice, thank you for sharing,

          Pit.
