Nice Kriegsmarine Mauser MG34
All matching numbers except butt stock.
Butt stock on gun is a origanal steel tipped bakelite
which is correct stock for a 1939 MG34.
Was part of 0steestation Baltic sea naval station Kiel.

excellent MG34 thanks for showing,glad you decided to go for it , very rare as its Kriegsmarine marked and all matching which is even better, some nice early features too like the early bipod retaining stud

It is curious it has two maker stamps and WaA. Mauser (S/243)all around with WaA26 and BSW on the receiver with WaA4 plus WaA26 (mauser). Perhaps BSW sent some parts to the Mauser factory in 1939?? The feed tray (936) and top cover (GJD WaA4 and WaA26) are also produced by BSW/ Gustloff Werke. Is the bolt also numbered to the MG? This one was produced by Rheinmetall-Maget (5A WaA11)

Hi Carles, you are right, Gustloff werke supplied this Receiver to Mauser its why it has the bsw and waa4 waffenamt. as for the top cover it is waa497 which i beleive is the earlier commercial logo of Grossfuss that later changed to the 3 letter mark bpr

Yes, it's true Phil!! I got that WaA wrong. I was now confusing Gustloff and Grossfuss, my mistake We did mention that on another thread:
