I'm going to look at a BYF 41 today and I'm a little out of touch with pricing nowadays. I haven't seen pictures yet but the seller has described it as original untouched (in his father's collection since the late 50's) all matching, with sling and stock not sanded or messed with. If it is as described, what are they selling for these days? I realize BYF 41's are fairly common , thanks

here it is, the only negative is the safety switch is not matching, all other numbers match. The sling is marked well and looks nice too. Nice bore and barrel. The seller claims this rifle was shipped to the US from a German soldier to his sister after the war. He was supposed to immigrate here and for whatever reason didn't so the sister eventually sold it to the guy I got it from. He said they were neighbors in Chicago . Regardless of the story it's very nice, hardwood stock and I also got the front sight hood and rubber barrel cap with it. I guess eventually I might find the correct 2 digit number safety somehwere. Either way it's nice one not messed with !
